I am a crafter of words and ideas, a Canadian-born speaker and writer of English.
About Me
Jim has worked as a broadcaster and producer, television host, and in public relations/communications in the public and private sectors. He has taught writing at Calgary's SAIT Polytechnic and was Western editor for Truck News/Truck West magazines, covering the transportation industry in Canada. He has written columns, screenplays, radio and TV programs, and has designed and written brochures, newsletters, bumper stickers, radio and TV commercials and much more, including the novel "Ransom for the Stars: the Last Supra."

Jim Bray is a member of the Automobile Journalists of Canada, his car reviews, and his technology columns, have been syndicated worldwide - and his nationally-broadcast technology-related commentaries were heard on CBC Radio One as well as on various private broadcasters in both eastern and western Canada.
Jim has owned and operated his own businesses, and has also been vice president, communications, for an Alberta-based political party, and was the media relations specialist for a local member of Parliament and federal cabinet minister and leadership candidate.
He has been married to Marianne since 1973 and they have two sons and two grandsons. His website is TechnoFile.
